Maps with HTTP proxy on Yosemite

Does anyone know if Apple's Maps app on Yosemite works if you're behind an HTTP proxy? Nothing ever appears in the Maps window, just the grid. Safari is working fine with the HTTP and HTTPS proxy settings in System Preferences.

Mac mini, OS X Yosemite (10.10.3)
